Objectives
• To show that the pressure exerted by a solid depends on the contact surface area and the weight acting on the surface,
• To calculate the pressure exerted by bodies stacked on top of each other,
• To show that the pressure exerted by a liquid depends on the density and height of the liquid,
• To calculate the pressure exerted by non-mixing liquids.
