Uniform Circular Motion

In this experiment, the motion of a particle rotating with constant angular velocity on a circular orbit is investigated. Physical quantities of a rotating object such as period, frequency, angular velocity, linear velocity, centripetal acceleration and centripetal force can be calculated on the frictional surface of a rotating disk. The relationship between centripetal force and friction force can be examined and the coefficient of static friction of the surface can be calculated.
