Heart Sounds
In this experiment, you will use a stethoscope and cardiomicrophone to listen to and record heart sounds at designated auscultation points, identifying the characteristic "lub-dub" sounds of the cardiac cycle. You will perform phonocardiography alongside ECG recording to evaluate the timing and relationship between the heart’s mechanical and electrical activities. By comparing normal and pathological heart sound patterns, you will learn to recognize murmurs and other abnormalities associated with valve disorders.
