DNA Isolation and Determination of Quantity and Purity
DNA Isolation is the process of extracting the DNA from cells. After the DNA is isolated it can be used in a range of follow-up procedures such as; maternity and paternity test, crime investigations, endemic and archeological research, PCR and recombinant gene research. In this experiment, you will extract DNA from human epithelial cells collected beforehand and use spectrophotometrical analysis to determine the concentration of DNA in your isolated sample.
