Description

All organisms need energy to survive, and they acquire this energy from foods. Foods need to be broken down to pieces for carbohydrates, protein, fat, minerals, and vitamins to be absorbed. In this experiment, the student is expected to learn the organs that make up the digestive system and accessory organs that help digestion along with their functions. Afterwards the student will be able to observe where and how macronutrients are digested.
