In this experiment we are going to study equilibrium constant for a reaction. When a reaction is at equilibrium reactant and product concentrations are related with a equilibrium constant whose value is only affected by temperature. In this experiment the student will construct an absorbance – concentration calibration curve using a colorimeter. After the construction of the calibration curve the product and reactants concentrations are going to be determined. Finally, equilibrium constant is going to be calculated as the average of the constants calculated for three equilibrium solutions of unknown concentrations.
You will be learning process that the titration curves of some typical acid base neutralization reactions.

You can see compounds of the elements form with each other and you can yourself form compounds by combining.
