Electrical Conduction in Ionic Solutions

In this experiment the student has the ability to observe that ionic solutions conduct electricity. The student observes that electricity is transmitted through free ions, and electrical conductivity increases with an increase in their concentration. He/She also understands that the ionic compounds are dissociated until the saturation point of the solution. Lastly, he/she comprehends that tap water is not pure but may contain ionic impurities.
